  i have tried it all
  and i keep trying all daily
  and i am beloved my parents and rewarded nationally for my skills...
   
  and still i exist with a bleeding heart and will be teaching adults only forever as of next  year
   
  i am being the very best teacher i can be this year because it is my very last
  my 4th year teaching first grade
   
  i am blessed
  i had many other careers before i became an educator
  i have options
  unlike many veteran teachers who are trapped in the frays
  parents, politicos, adnin etc....have all become intolerable for all educators who care
  abot actual teaching
   
  i depart in june with a broken heart and a wounded spirit...
  and i deeply appreciate your empathy lisa
   
  EVERYONE who has anything so say about teachers
  needs to walk 24 hours in our shoes...most would never survive!!!
   
  just visit any public classroom
  especially in primary ed
  where students survive the most toxic parents in history!!!!
   
  teaching children has become the mosy abusive profession in america
   
  visit any early child educator
  u will find:
  endless senseless testing
  tons of shockingly horrid behaviors
  incredible paperwork
  countless other state mandated mindless multi-tasking
  and, if u visit a superior school with good parents, a modicum of actual teaching
   
  most good parents send their kids to pvt and charter schools these days
  for good reason
  ie
  they do not endure these selective abusive tests/mindless programs
  and they do not tolerate toxic behaviors and absentee parents etc....
   
  public schools sell our collective souls for state funds/programs/tests etc
  it is toxic business with fatal results for us all
   
  we will all pay for this demise
  as a nation!!!
   
  i am penning a book about it all as therapy ....
